The project below highlights some of my work with a Seattle Nonprofit. I produced this project entirely, which ended up being a more complete series and can be found on Youtube, including proposal and script work, editing, filming, and directing. It also shows my capacity to alter my personal style in order to support existing branding and emphasize the mission of the organization. 

The following project was a final piece for an editing course taken in completion of my Bachelors in Media Studies. The subject of this piece is, essentially, empathy. Although the specific medical condition being discussed is Mirror Touch Synesthesia, the underlying issues are empathetic human response, interconnectedness, and the idea of watching people. The first showing of this piece was projected onto a full mirror. The mirror was placed in front of the audience in lieu of a screen. This placement forced the audience to participate in the voyeurism associated with Mirror Touch Synesthesia. 

The series below was a final project in digital arts. My goal was to reimagine Greek gods in a modern context. Aphrodite became a tinder match, Zeus a high powered executive giving out business cards, and Hermes, the communicator of the gods, became a gif modeled after the internet sensation, nyan cat. These projects were intended to prove a certain level of mastery, but also to emphasize that the form of content can often be as important as the content itself. 

The series below is a collection of digital art created using Adobe Photoshop. Although each project was made with specific requirements and prompts, they also reflect my preference for creating media that prompts questions, tell stories, and evokes emotions. My overarching theme for this set of projects was "Childhood." In some interpretations, this theme became playful and lighthearted, while in others in became sinister or nostalgic.
